Epson: Road to the LPGA
The Road to the LPGA is a premium mini-doc series we concepted, directed, and produced to reveal what it truly takes to reach the highest level of women’s professional golf. Told through the unscripted voices of ten LPGA rookies, the series explores mental health, overcoming adversity, leadership, teamwork, and the global growth of the game. Distributed globally, the series showcases athletes from a wide range of countries, regions, and backgrounds, amplifying the Epson Tour’s purpose: providing women around the world the opportunity to pursue lifelong dreams and earn their place on the LPGA Tour. By centering real players and authentic stories, the project elevated the human side of elite competition while strengthening Epson’s global partnership with the LPGA Tour. Produced in partnership with Seiko Epson Corporation and the LPGA Tour, The Road to the LPGA received widespread industry recognition, earning 17 Telly Awards, including Best Non-Broadcast Documentary, Best Non-Broadcast Sports Series, and Best Branded Content for Social Media; 7 Digiday Awards, including Best Multi-Platform Video Campaign and Best Branded Content Series (B2B); and 2 Webby Award Honoree distinctions, including Best Sports Video Series. The series was recognized alongside leading sports and cultural platforms such as The Olympic Channel, Warner Bros. Discovery Sports, UFC, Amazon, and PBS Digital Studios. The result is a globally celebrated, athlete-first documentary series that set a new benchmark for branded storytelling in women’s sports and reaffirmed the power of authentic voices and storytelling at the highest level of sport.
